  • Various fully moving parts come to life with ailerons, elevators, rudders, flaps, rolling wheels and trim labs all bursting with genuine life on this.

  • The animated sections do all that you possibly need to keep you feeling the realism from the aircraft with doors, visors, antenna and static wicks all moving according to what you are doing within the cockpit of the aircraft accordingly.

  • New lighting systems are made from scratch which give you much more clarity in vision with beacons, landing lights and left-wing ice lights all keeping you on the go and making sure you never need to put yourself in any kind of trouble

  • 3D modeled pilot has been added into the cockpit to increase the realism as well as to give you another source to recognize what's going on with.

  • Huge details are included within the aircraft itself, with a customized VC panel and gauge set being created from scratch for sublime performance.

  • Make your own flying much easier as the addition of realistic light effects makes your life ten times easier than it has been in the past.

  • Nightlight effects will be useful, as will the zoom gauges that limit the time you spend waiting for things to start working out effectively.

  • Toggle your yoke within the virtual cockpit, helping you stay on track as well as ensure you have no problems when you are moving forward.

  • Full checklists and reference texts about how to manage procedure and how to put together the most enjoyable process that you can whilst minimizing mistakes.

  • The behavior of the aircraft in response to what you ask is made to match the real thing - handling, performance, management, effectiveness and speed are all calculated effectively with this.

  • Real weight and balance is something that you need to deal with as well, and this will help you understand the kind of power that this aircraft once dragged around with it, making developing your aircraft a whole lot easier as well as making it easier to get used to.

  • A PDF manual to help you get to grips with how the virtual cockpit should be working within this aircraft, improving your knowledge as well as your expertise whilst you get to grips with flying this rather unique kind of aircraft.

The Seneca II

  • The aircraft itself has been designed with both models equipped - one with a two-blade propeller, the other with a three-blade propeller.

  • Not sure what kind of livery to use/ Then pick from the three paint styles included as well as the blank texture. The blank version lets you make up your own livery so that this aircraft flies in the way that you would have wanted whilst carrying the look and feel that gives you access to the right design style.

  • The model of the aircraft has been optimized time and time again to get the best out of the polygon count used by this software, greatly improving your chances of having something genuinely interesting to stay engaged with as you fly and helping you get to grips with the general way this aircraft would look.

  • The friendly FPS design ensures that it flies comfortable and will give you all the help that you need in buying into this kind of aircraft, improving your overall control and management of the aircraft as you try to lean.

  • Every detail has been included in the design so that the real textures themselves are easy to tell apart, making it nice and simple to buy into the various ways that you will be flying as well as helping you understand what each and every part of the aircraft is. With dedicated textures the whole model looks better, giving the entire design a much better look and feel than it would have had previously.

  • Lots of tiny details included throughout with extras like antennas, chocks, cowl plugs and even a baggage area are all added in there to make the whole aircraft feel a bit more authentic as well as managing all it can to bring the entire package together.

  • Fully moving parts included will all look great as the aircraft is in scale - the maximum details and realistic textures are all included to the highest possible standard of design which is allowed within a simulator.

  • This really does push the boundaries but never affects the performance, as everything has been included and coded in such a manner that it ensures performance will not be affected unless your machine is not capable of managing the vanilla simulator.

  • Original HQ digital sounds are recorded to fit with the PA-34 itself, giving you the most authentic audio experience you're likely to find.

Carenado are recognized for delivering top quality add-ons for our favorite flight simulators and their new Seneca II is no exception. Available as an immediate download for Flight Simulator X and 2004, there need be no delay in getting one of these in your virtual hangar, straight away. As a light aircraft with a twin-engine design that integrates the engines into the wings themselves, this is one of the more attractive aircraft that American company Piper Aircraft have manufactured.

The polygon optimized model boasts an enormous amount of detail without putting unnecessary strain on your computer and without affecting your frame rates. Amazing textures bring out a lot of the detail, and manage to hold sharp, clear lines when zoomed in; the lettering on the side of the plane, for instance, is remarkably well defined. With the choice of either a two bladed or a three bladed model, as well as the choice between one of three super tight liveries, you can pick out whatever best suits your tastes.

Utilizing dynamic shadows and an intelligent use of volumetric normal mapping, specular mapping and bloom lights, Carenado have created almost cinematic visuals; lights shine realistically over the surface of the aircraft, whether from environmental light sources or beacon and strobe lights, creating some great screen shot opportunities.

Inside the interactive virtual cockpit, you'll see stunning views through the realistically transparent windows. Although out of the side windows, you'll get a lovely close-up view of the stylish engine pods more than anything else. The 3D modeled cockpit area features a custom panel and custom gauges. Everything in the cockpit is affected by the internal dynamic shadows, which add a great deal of depth to the 3D elements and the textures therein. These work even better when making use of the instrument lights or the dome light, that can be turned on and off individually.

Perhaps most noteworthy, is the feel of the aircraft that has been perfectly matched to that of its real world counterpart. The effect this has is that all other elements of the aircraft, from the high quality recorded sounds to the numerous animations fleshing out its visual accuracy, adhere together to create something that is so palpable, you'd think you were flying the real thing.
