It was designed with the aim of being used in many different fashions, and It soon became a really important aircraft that was, for quite some time, seen as the perfect solution to homebuilt aircraft needs. The aircraft is still in use today and this package looks to really capture it for all of its glory, with every little detail and addition being included in here to give you a true sense of how fun an aircraft like this can be, regardless of how it looks!
Making the use of stunning REAL GAUGE tech, this manages to really capture the depth and detail that you want to see when using a flight simulation product like this. This really manages to capture the detail and the scale of the aircraft, ensuring that you get to feel - first hand - the control that it brings to the table
The best part about this, though, is the fact that every gauge that has been included is completely controllable just by using a few clicks of the mouse - this makes flight super simple and limits the time that you waste
All of the V-C gauges that are included are not just for show; they are full, 3D models made from scratch. All of these allow you to operate the aircraft with knowledge as well as giving you fully operational gauges that tick and move along with things like needles and flags all appearing as they would in the real cockpit
Many of the gauges included are things like a Hobbs meter, a GPS, a MiniFlo fuel computer and even a radios stack. All of these, though are integral to the safe running and management of the aircraft itself and can be vital in you becoming a much better pilot in general
Digital displays are included on any of the larger gauges so that you can easily make out what is being said on-screen so you can react to any situations that start to develop
Every gauge that has been included also comes with full night time illumination. This ensures that you never need to struggle to see or read anything along the way. It also makes it much simpler to control the aircraft as everything will be as visible during the day as it is at night thanks to the awesome lighting that has been included in this add-on
2D panels are not required with this package as everything is more or less included, however small bitmaps are needed for anyone who wants to use 2D panels for any particular reason
V-C self-shadowing that ensures the cockpit itself looks awesome and manages itself properly as you fly. Now things will appear as they should as you fly as the shadows of the things around you are taken into account and used to create an incredibly attractive looking finish in the cockpit
Smooth operations are provided through using this Real Gauge tech, ensuring that you are left with a beautiful level of performance that you would struggle to match otherwise. This levels out FPS performance levels and also ensures that you can get the assistance that you need to move forward
Various functions like maps, air-traffic control and other simple management solutions that you need when trying to fly are all accessed with the touch of a single button thanks to various mousable hotspots within the cockpit. This makes it nice and easy to control as you go
The models that are include - six in total - come with ten awesome detailed texture sets that look outstanding and are very, very easy to use. Each section provides a simplistic and effective way to start seeing its detail
Flight dynamics have been adjusted, improved, altered and optimized various times to make sure that this aircraft flies and feels like its real-life counterpart. Each model has gone through many hours' worth of development and time to ensure that, at the end of the day, it feels the best that it can. Everything has been tested and adjusted by real pilots who have taken on the E-Z in the past, ensuring that you are getting an accurate and hugely enjoyable response from the aircraft as you fly
High quality sounds that are made from scratch are added in here, using the real-life sounds as the aircraft as the basis and then adjusted, improved and changed to ensure they fit with the high standards expected. The awesome sounds are then put through a sound cone system to ensure that they carry authentically from one end of the aircraft to the next, making it sound far more realistic
Flight dynamics have been updated and changed numerous times to make sure they fit with the style and the presence of the AvCo Lycoming engine as well as the 0-320 edition that some of these fly with
The manual is another huge plus point, giving those who want to learn the tricks and now this all works together a chance to do so. With more than 60 pages of detail and answers in there, it really does become incredibly simple to manage and look after yourself and make sure you are really getting everything out of this that you can
Realistic pilot figures are made up to sit in the cockpit and look the part, giving the aircraft another bit of life and vitality to it that can be quite hard to find elsewhere
Animations are included that look spot on and manage to give you another layer of detail. The rudders, canards, nose gears and ventral spoiler all work as they would in real life with authentic animations being made to ensure that it all comes together and looks the part
Founded in 1999 by Phil Perrott and originally named Alphasim who developed freeware aircraft for FS2004/FSX. Now rebranded as Virtavia who now publish payware add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Prepar3D based on the old heavily modified Alphasim stock.
Virtavia has a focus on military aircraft add-ons compatible with FSX, Prepar3D, and X-Plane. Focusing on historic and modern military aircraft, their add-ons have been well received by flight sim pilots and rated highly.
SimShack stock the entire range of Virtavia add-ons and continue to list any new versions or releases announced by Virtavia.

Purchased through Steam (verified as Virtavia). This is a great aircraft for a VR cockpit...It's simple enough, with a few bells and whistles to help the pilot (GPS and basic autopilot). The aircraft is sensitive, but it is also very stable, and hard to stall catastrophically. If you stall, it happens on the foreplane, so the nose will drop but the altitude will not (you have to really force it to stall the main wing, and then you're in trouble).
While kit planes have risks, this design does give the pilot as many advantages as possible, from the dome cockpit to the window between the legs so you can see the runway lines as you flare.

Nice aircraft. A challenge to land well. Makes you think more about the landing than a lot of addon aircraft. Very sensitive plane which requires small input and careful trim. Some clipping issues when I have the head tracker on but otherwise nice.

Excellent product. Good VC, Flies well. The elevator made me wonder if the movement was correct but after some thought I realised it is correct. This is an unusual design and very modern. I would love to own a real one.
