T-6 Texan / Harvard for FSX/FS2004

Acting as a basic combat trainer for US service as well as various other nations on the planet, this was one of the most commonly used trainer aircraft of its time thanks to the speed and effectiveness it had, offering a nice change up of pace from more traditional and less effective civilian crafts of the time.

• This excellent virtual cockpit self-shadowing system is designed to add another layer of reality to the whole thing whilst also giving you a better view and look from inside the cockpit. Captures the stunning nature of the real aircraft in all of its glory (only compatible with FSX SP2 Acceleration).

• The virtual cockpit, though, is as functional as it is attractive looking; the whole package manages to capture that look and feel perfectly along the way, with the animations and various mousable controls making it a piece of cake to jump into the cockpit of this aircraft and fly off!

• However, even the 2D panels are all designed and detailed as they make use of all-XML 2D designs and mousable controls to make the use of the aircrafts various features. This means that you have access to features like autopilot and the radio to make sure you have total and utter control at all times.

• The rear cockpit is included within the virtual cockpit, too, if you like to use these extra features. This nice addition can be a really nice addition to have just for making the whole aircraft come to life a bit more and work in the way that you had intended.

• The authentic sound set included within this package makes it easier than ever for you to have some fun, and the T-6 sound set that it carries is some of the most impressive around, ensuring that you get the sound to represent the booming engine and the aircrafts general nature.

• This comes with two awesome panel images included to bring the interior of the aircraft to life and to make sure you have access to the range of features and additions that you need to truly feel at home when you are flying this aircraft.

• Do you need to have some extra effects to make the whole thing come to life for you? Then you need to look at the various subtle effects added in here. For example, it now produces a smoke trail and wingtip vortices effects when you take off, ensuring maximum performance.

• Additionally, startup flame and smoke effect features were made from scratch to ensure that the aircraft roars into life and looks the part as you take off - these new features really do add a fresh take on the way that the aircraft looks as you first start the engine up!

• Virtual cockpit rain effects are added in for al FS9 users who want to see the aircraft have that nice extra little effect included, making the cockpit feel a little bit more authentic and a tad more impressive when you are flying around in the colder, wetter weather in general.

• Pilot figures added in who you have total control over and can decide if you even want them to appear in the first place! This makes it nice and easy to control the aircraft and make it work in the way that you had intended, bringing the whole thing together.

• Highly authentic flight model that comes with an illustrated checklist so that you can make sure you are dealing with all of the little must handle steps of flying the T-6 Texan; it takes a bit of getting used to but this checklist really is a must-have features when flying!

• Separate animated front and rear canopies help to create a nice balance when you are flying, ensuring that the aircraft has all of those nice little animations coming to life and bringing the whole thing together, establishing a deep and controlled look within the aircraft that will tick every box.
