The five included aircraft began breaking records as early as 1906, when the Santos-Dumont 14-bis (Oiseau de proie) performed the first official, unaided take-off of a heavier-than-air aircraft. Not only that, it also achieved the first flight above a 25m height for over 100m. Climb aboard this bird of prey and see if you've if you can do the same. In 1909, the Blériot XI was the first aircraft to cross the English Channel. Louis Blériot, was the proud pilot to achieve this, and won a lasting place in history as a result. Rodrig Goliescu created the first aircraft with a tubular fuselage and a front mounted propeller, the Goliescu Avioplan, that was flown to a height of about 50m towards the end of 1909.  The Wright Model B was a biplane created by the Wright brothers in 1910 and captured at least nine records. Not the least of which, was for completing the first west-to-east flight across America. Finally, the Handley Page Type E monoplane, is recognised as being the first passenger aircraft, and carried passengers hundreds of miles between 1912 and 1914 before it retired.

All five aircraft have been respectfully recreated to honor their real-world counterparts and capture their quirks and performance, so that you can feel the spirit of the era. Three missions are included that will test your piloting skills and afford you the opportunity to relive our conquering of the skies.
