The island was once occupied by the Dutch (which it still belongs to today) and hence, as well as operating short-haul flights between the Caribbean islands, it is also used as a stop-off point for KLM long-haul flights.
All of the buildings and facilities, including interiors, have been accurately reproduced using thousands of on-site images as well as custom orthographic imaging.
The airport is further brought to life with the passenger animations, as well as the dynamic and realistic night lighting. Custom taxiway signage also matches those in the real-world version.
Also note, that if you select any date before 2018, the old control tower is also available.
