Turbine Sound Studios brings the familiar roar of the Bombadier Dash-8 turboprop to your computer with their Dash8-Q1-2-300 HD Sound Pack for FS2004.

The Bombadier Dash-8 is known for its short takeoff and landing abilities. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW123 turboprop engines of over 2400 horsepower each. This add on for your FS2004 system is packed with sound files recorded in the field, just a few feet away from real aircraft doing real work. In addition to the engine sounds, the software package features custom high definition recordings of wind sounds, ambient cockpit noises, and the signature sounds of landing gear deployment, flap operation and alarm sounds for engine overspeed or stall conditions.

You can even hear the auxiliary power unit running, and all the noises associated with the autopilot are included as well. The aircraft used in the production of this program is the Bombadier DHC-8-300 as flown by Airsouthwest Airlines.

High definition recording techniques were used to ensure that you get every nuance – you’ll feel your seat rumble as the engines throttle up to a howl as you take off, and every control movement you make triggers the corresponding sound.

Turbine Sound Studios proudly presents the TSS Dash8-Q1-2-300 HD Soundpack for FS2004.  With this soundpack,we have captured all the best soundmoments , and put them together, to combine a truly stunning representation of the PW123.

This soundpack can be used with other Dash8 addon`s than the PSS Dash8-q300 in the promotional video.

All enginesounds are recorded few feet away from the engines of Wider¯e and Airsouthwest Dash8`s

Besides the real HD recordings of the engines, this sound also includes:

DHC-8-300 Series

Stretched 3.43 metres (11.3 ft) over the Series 100/200, a 50ñ56 passenger version that entered service in 1989.  The Q300 is powered by the Pratt & Whitney PW123 or PW123B or PW123E, rated at 2,380-2,500 shp or 1,774-1,864 kW.
