Employing a highly skilled team of Technical Advisors from the aviation field, PMDG´s development team has daily input from MD-11 Captains, First Officers, Field Technicians, Training Managers and even engineers involved in the design/build of the airplane at Douglas nearly twenty years ago. All of this technical expertise means that the PMDG MD-11 precisely matches it's majestic real world counterpart!
In traditional PMDG style, no effort is being spared during this extensive development in order to make the PMDG MD-11 "another" favorite of PMDG simulation customers!
PMDG continues our lineage of fine airliner simulations with another popular heavy airliner, the PMDG MD-11! Born out of airline requirements for a "modern new DC-10" the MD-11 is a superb example of aircraft engineering from the era when modern computer processing power was beginning to bring truly new ideas, safety and capability to the cockpit of transport airplanes. Highly automated and employing innovative new approaches to the pilot/airplane interface, the MD-11 took the McDonnell Douglas widebody line into the future with fully automated flight modes, aircraft system status pages, failure consequence displays and clearly thought out pilot controls. One of the most advanced airplanes ever produced by Douglas, the MD-11 has been largely missing from desktop simulation... Until Now!

I look to reviews and videos for a bit of guidance before deciding to part with my hard earned $$$ and buy a new aircraft for my hangar. The MD11 looks like a superb bit of FS development, but when I view the video on the "Buy Me, Buy Me" page to help me make up my mind, what do I see... the primary flight control control column jumping all over the screen. Now I can't tell if that's a MD11, video recording, or a PC issue, but whichever, I'm not shelling out until I see a video showing me how the MD11 actually performs. In my mind an aircraft that costs this much should run smooth as a bird. Due to the lack of previous reviews and based on the sales video, I've had to be uncommitted and rate it middle of road. Lets have a review from some of you who have splashed out and are now flying this great aircraft. Convince me that it's worth spending E65 on. GDNZ
